Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Your first month's rent and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Confirm the amounts with our team to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Move-in Date & Inspection
We will schedule your move-in date and provide all initial inspection details at the lease signing.

Utilities
Please place all utility accounts in your name immediately following the lease signing. Remember, you're responsible for keeping these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay with us.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate so that we can begin preparing for the next tenants. Refer to your lease to determine the terms and conditions of your departure.

Property Condition
Before handing in the keys for your rental home, you'll need to bring your property back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following important priorities:

Rental Cleaning: Start with decluttering your rental. Remove all personal items and garbage from the property.

Next, clean from top to bottom: dust ceilings, walls, and light fixtures; wipe down surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and cabinets; scrub sinks, toilets, and showers; vacuum and mop floors; and clean inside closets and cabinets.

Don't forget to clean windows, blinds, and baseboards.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: Please address the outdoor space of your rental, mowing the lawn, replacing lightbulbs as necessary, and disposing of any trash outside.

Repairs: Please repair any damage that occurred during your stay; this involves patching nail and screw holes, replacing stained walls, and replacing broken glass.

Security Deposit
After you've vacated the property and returned all keys, our team will conduct a thorough inspection. We'll assess the condition of the property, looking for any damages beyond normal wear and tear. Once this assessment is complete, we'll deduct any necessary repair costs or outstanding bills from the security deposit.

If there are no deductions, we'll promptly refund the full deposit amount. We strive for transparency and fairness throughout this process and are here to address any questions or concerns you may have.
